Vortex Optics Crossfire™ HD 1400 Laser Rangefinder

Vortex Optics Crossfire™ HD 1400 Laser Rangefinder

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect go-to laser rangefinder for bow and rifle hunters alike, you’ve found it in the Crossfire HD 1400. Not only does the Crossfire HD 1400 have everything you need and nothing you don’t, but it’s also a lightweight powerhouse that’s at home in a bowhunter’s pack and in an ultralight hunter’s loadout. With a 1,400-yard max range (750 on deer), you get plenty of power to the range and, thanks to the HD optical system, you’ll have the power to pick apart any landscape. To match any hunting environment, the Crossfire HD 1400 has three target modes (Normal, First, Last) and two ranging modes (HCD and LOS). A red TOLED display keeps the readout clear in any lighting conditions and, at just 4.8 ounces, the Crossfire HD 1400 hunts hard and carries light.

HD Optical System

Optimized with select glass elements to deliver exceptional resolution, cut chromatic aberration, and provide outstanding color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness, and light transmission.

Ranging Modes

Line of Sight (LOS) displays the actual line of sight range. Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) displays the slope angle compensated for the target distance. Scan Feature displays continuous distance readings while panning across a landscape. This feature is available in all modes.

Target Modes

Normal Mode is the standard mode that provides the target’s range with the strongest range result. Recommended for most situations. First Mode displays the closest distance when ranging. Ideal for ranging smaller targets in front of other larger, more reflective targets. Last Mode displays the farthest distance when ranging. Ideal for ranging a specific target behind a group of objects like brush, trees, rocks, etc.
