This will filter out all the noises produced by projectors, traffic, or wind and make sure the recorder is focused on the voices. Additionally, to give you a purer recording, the Auto Voice recording optimizes the audio capture setting for vocal frequencies. Clear Voice technology further cleans up the signal when you play your recording back.

Transcription Playback Mode

In Transcription Playback mode, you can review recordings. Fast-forward and rewind or create cue points in the recordings to save your place on the recorder. The Digital Pitch Control allows you to slow down the speed of your recording for closer listening.

S-Microphone System

The featured S-microphone system captures distant and quiet sounds without getting excessive background noise. It also captures high-sensitivity and low-noise sounds.

File Format

The audio gets recorded in two file formats, i.e., PCM or MP3. The PCM format takes more space but captures more detail, while MP3 files are compressed but need less memory.

File Transfer

The Sony ICD-PX470 Digital Voice Recorder comes with a built-in USB direct connection for fast and easy file transferring. It eliminates the use of USB cables. Just plug the recorder into a USB port to transfer files.
