Slik Creator's Studio Kit with Creators Clamp, Sliding Arm II, SBH-400AS Head

The Slik Creator’s Kit bundles three popular Slik products that work well together as a complete support system for creators in the studio as well as in the field. It comprises a Creator’s Clamp, Sliding Arm II, and SBH-400AS Ball Head.

Creator’s Clamp

The Slik Creator’s Clamp gives creators maximum flexibility in their setups. This universal clamp is great for attaching cameras, phones, tablets or other small studio accessories up to 4.4 lb. with the sliding pole or up to 11 lb directly attaching to the clamp port. Use the clamp to fasten your attachments to anything up to 3 inches wide. The reversible surface adapter allows you to clamp to flat and round surfaces such as desktops, rails, poles or branches. An included hex key allows you to quickly convert from flat to round surfaces.

Easy to Assemble

Equipped with the clamp is a removable 17-inch sliding pole to move your camera up and down or extend it from the center fulcrum. The pole comes with a 1/4-inch-20 thread to mount to almost any ball head as well as a 3/8-inch thread adapter just in case. The dual accessory ports allow you to hook up a second attachment to the clamp. The included ball head adapter allows you to remove the sliding pole and attach a heavier camera setup directly to the clamp. The clamp is easy to set up and use with tactile knobs and the lightweight design makes it easy to travel with.

Sliding Arm II

The professional Sliding Arm II is a universal mini-boom that works with almost any tripod that can have the head removed. It allows creators access to multiple unique angles and vantage points not possible with a traditional tripod and head setup. The arm is connected to a fulcrum that allows rotation, tilt and slide for free movement in almost any direction. The arm extends up to 19.5 inches from the tripod's center column to capture lay-flat overhead perspectives useful for vlogging, video tutorials, macro photography and more. To position the camera, the sliding arm features 2 knobs. One controls the slide and the other controls rotation and angle. A hook is included, opposite the head, to attach a counterweight (not sold by Slik) for increased stability as the arm extends away from the tripod's center of gravity.

Load Support

The Sliding Arm supports 4.4lb of camera gear and will attach to most tripods legs with a 3/8-inch thread post. We include a 1/4-inch-20 thread adapter for those with a smaller thread post on their tripod legs. Your head will attach to the arm using a 1/4 20-inch thread or you can use the thread adapter for heads with a 3/8-inch thread hole. The versatility of the Sliding Arm makes it a great companion for product photographers, v-loggers, studio professionals and amateur enthusiasts searching for new perspectives. The Sliding Arm II is adjusted manually and does not require batteries.

SBH-400AS Ball Head

The compact professional Slik SBH-400AS ball head is a lightweight, low-profile head with an independent pan lock knob. The low-profile quick release plates may be left on the camera and won’t hinder vertical shooting. The cam lock quick release system allows users to attach the camera from the top of the platform without sliding in or out of the grooves.

Compatibility

Weighing just 0.6 lb, the SBH-400AS ball head supports up to 8.8 lb of gear. The head is capable of handling a professional DSLR with standard lens. The head also has a separate lock with degree markings around the base for stitching together panoramic photos. The head to tripod connection is a standard 3/8-inch thread and comes with a 1/4-inch-20 thread adapter to mount to your tripod legs of choice.
