Sirui P-424FL Professional 4 Sections Monopod with Modular Design and 10-Layer Carbon Fiber Legs
The Sirui P-424FL Professional Modular Monopod is a
heavy-duty version of the previous P-325 series monopod. The P-424 series
monopod is a great combination of monopod, extension rod, and tabletop tripod,
allowing creators to perform many tasks with only one tool.
Features
Although the P-424 series monopod has one fewer section than the P-325 version,
it is taller and sturdier for use in many scenarios. The P-424 series has
obvious advantages in height and load capacity over similar products. The leg
tube is manufactured from 10-layer carbon fiber to reduce weight and increase
stability. The mounting plate, monopod leg, and tripod base can be detached and
freely combined into a monopod, an extension rod, or a tabletop tripod, thanks
to its modular design. This is a versatile tool that serves many purposes. The
monopod is ideal for filming sports, wildlife, weddings, and more. The
extension rod is useful in highly mobile situations and for the weight
distribution of telephoto lenses. It can also be converted into a tabletop
tripod, and the attachable rubber foot is used for desktop recording, vlogs,
and macro shots.
Quick Setup
The monopod features a quick-release system. Pull on the sleeve to remove the
mounting plate and simply insert the plate back to securely lock it in place.
The quick-release system allows for a simple and quick setup of the monopod,
saving you a lot of time on set. It has a quick-release mounting screw, where
you press and hold the button to take out the screw. Flip the screw upside down
to switch between the 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch thread. To use the quick-release
tripod base, remove the rubber foot from the tripod base and attach it to the
bottom of the main tube to form an extension rod.
Panning and Tilting
The upper twist collar has a groove-textured surface for a firm twist. Unlock
the collar to get a full 360-degree panning ability. 36-degree tilting in any
direction gives you a lot of flexibility. The minipod is made of solid aluminum
to be robust and stable. The legs offer two position settings and can be folded
up or down for easy storage. Holes in the legs allow you to tie the minipod to
any position. Twist the rubber foot to reveal a spike for tough terrain.
Whether it is scorching heat or freezing winters (minus 40 degrees C to
approximately 100 degrees C), the monopod always stays in its best condition.
However, it is advised not to the tripod for a long period in such
temperatures.
