Photoflex Adjustable Shoe-Mount Flash Lightstand Adapter
The Photoflex Adjustable Shoe-Mount Flash Lightstand Adapter is a sturdy metal bracket that enables use of a flash with a standard shoemount design. This unit comes with a heavy-duty reversible 5/8-inch brass stud with a screw on each end (3/8-inch and 1/4-inch-20) that expands the connectivity options of the bracket to use our heavier duty metal OctoConnector with all of our soft boxes. The 3/8-inch stud is required with the OctoConnector when used with rectangular soft boxes in order that the soft boxes can be mounted parallel to the floor.
Versatile Design
This is an adjustable shoe-mount connector that accepts most shoe-mount flashes. It connects to a Photoflex, or Chimera Speed Ring, and allows use of that flash with a 12 x 16-inch softbox. The Photoflex Extra Small LiteDome comes with a universal speed ring. This adapter connects to that, or any other Speed Ring. Height of the flash is easily adjusted, and locked into place in the optimum position. The design of this adapter utilizes a brass stud at the point of best balance when attached to a swivel at the top of a LiteStand. Also included is a second shoe mount, which can accommodate a radio receiver.
