The Meprolight NYX 221 is a multispectral sight featuring a 640 x 480, 17-micron thermal channel and a 640 x 480 low-light digital camera channel. The thermal channel detects heat signatures and has superior detection, even in blackout conditions or when the target is disguised. The day camera channel provides the shooter maximum situational awareness, even under the worst of conditions. It allows the shooter to use the NYX 221 for up to 24 hours and thus maintain maximum accuracy at all time.
Ergonomic Design
With the user experience in mind, the Meprolight NYX 221 features an ergonomic design, user-friendly keypad, unique icon-based menus for intuitive navigation and easy operation under all conditions. The dual-use multispectral sight was designed to be used as a weapon mounted sight and for handheld observations. The unit can be easily switched between scenarios without having to re-zero.
Complies with MIL-810 Standards
Advanced power saving capabilities based on motion sensor technology assures mission completion without power failure. The integrated dual wavelength device supports various tactical scenarios including CQB (Close Quarters Battle) and covert night operations. The Mepro NYX-221 provides image capture and video recording on an internal SD card. It is designed and fabricated to the severest military standards, including MIL-810, to assure years of reliable operation under all field and environment conditions.
