Powered by a 1/5-inch CMOS digital image sensor with a primary color filter, the camera captures 1920x1920 digital photos and 800x800 H.264 videos. The Fujifilm Instax Square SQ20 has an iconic design and a thin, round, symmetrical shape for easy holding. The internal memory can hold up to 50 photos to be printed at any time. There is a Micro SD card slot that gives you endless possibilities if you run out of internal memory.

Three buttons arranged in a half-circle around the top portion of the command dial allow you to apply digital filters and vignettes while controlling image brightness. You can also zoom and crop images on the LCD screen using the controls, and can print and edit your photos as many times as you want.
