They also have Bak-4 prism glass featuring the new ESP Dielectric coating and phase correction for color fidelity and sharpness. Argon gas purging makes the Argos binoculars waterproof and fog proof. A lightweight magnesium alloy chassis reduces weight, taking the strain off of your neck but making it strong enough for the harshest environments.

Magnesium Chassis
A special alloy that consists of magnesium, aluminum, and other elements gives you the strength of a metal chassis while reducing the weight as much as 30-40 percent and offering 40-50 percent higher strength compared with typical aluminum materials.
XPL Coating
The extra protection on the exterior lenses prevents the scope from enduring dirt, oil, and potential scratches.
