Maintaining the ultra-compact footprint of the amaran Ray 60c, the amaran Ray 120c remains slim (5.1 cm / 2.0 in) and lightweight (599 g / 1.32 lbs), comparable in size and weight to mirrorless camera bodies, yet still retains a full-size Bowens Mount. This compact build lets you travel lighter and set up faster in tight spaces, on the go, and between locations.

Powered by the OmniColor light engine, the amaran Ray 120c reproduces light that looks true-to-life, both on camera and to the eye. Building on Amaran’s previous full-color chipset, OmniColor expands the red and blue ranges to deliver a fuller, more balanced spectrum of light, achieving SSI scores of 87 (Tungsten) and 80 (D56). What you see is what you capture: cleaner whites, truer skin tones, and more accurate color that stays consistent on camera.

In addition to the included DC power adapter, the Amaran Ray 120c is built for mobility with Amaran Ace E-Lock and USB-C PD support. Run for 35 minutes at 100% output with the amaran Peak via Ace E-Lock for a secure, cable-free setup, or power it with USB-C PD power banks and chargers, eliminating NP-F or V-Mount batteries while keeping your setup streamlined from outdoor locations to studio shoots.

Amaran Mini Reflector for Ray 60c and 120c - Bowens Mount, 25-degree Beam Angle

The amaran Mini Reflector is a compact 14.5cm (5.71in) Bowens Mount reflector that focuses the amaran Ray 60c and 120c’s beam angle to 25º to produce an optimized, even light output.

Featuring a parabolic profile and faceted inner texture, the amaran Mini Reflector delivers uniform, edge-to-edge coverage with reduced spill and fewer hotspots, creating a natural fallout that flatters subjects and keeps backgrounds tidy. And with its focused 25º beam angle, the amaran Mini Reflector increases the intensity of the amaran Ray 60c and 120c lights by up to 5 times, to 19,530 lux @ 1m and 35,600 lux @ 1m, respectively.

The amaran Mini Reflector attaches to the amaran Ray 60c and 120c lights in seconds with its standard Bowens Mount, giving you a secure fit that won’t shift as you mount, adjust, and travel between shoots.
