With Aputure's groundbreaking BLAIR-CG LED chipset and ProLock mount, the Storm 1000c is a 1000W color-tunable point source fixture that provides unmatched color accuracy, sophisticated white-point control, and safe modifier installation. This multipurpose fixture provides the power and accuracy needed for any professional application, whether it is on a small-crew video production or a high-end film set.

BLAIR-CG Chipset

The Storm 1000c's unique BLAIR-CG chipset produces remarkable brightness and vivid color mixing. With the attached 45-degree hyperreflector, it offers 14200 lux at 3m (5600K), guaranteeing maximum output while preserving extremely high color accuracy. The cutting-edge chipset improves light quality by employing diodes in Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red, Cyan, and Green. This allows for a greater variety of saturated hues and makes better use of each diode's performance.

Wide Range of Functions

With a CCT range of 1800K to 20000K, the Storm 1000c can be used in both candlelight and daylight settings with ease. White-point accuracy is guaranteed under all lighting conditions thanks to the sophisticated white point management with green-magenta color correction (plus or minus G 100 percent Full ASC MITC range). Filmmakers have access to a wide range of colors to properly meet their creative needs thanks to its 90 percent plus Rec. 2020 gamut coverage.

Choose Your Output

Even at low output levels of 24 lux at 3m (5600K), the Storm 1000c's smooth 0.1 to 100 percent step-less dimming ensures flicker-free performance. In order to accommodate varying production requirements without sacrificing color accuracy, users can choose between the Max and Constant output modes.

ProLock Locking

To minimize the need for changes and maximize the performance of optical modifiers such as projector lenses and fresnels, a recently designed ProLock locking accessory mount guarantees that the modifiers remain firmly attached and optically aligned. The Storm 1000c easily fits into any professional lighting workflow due to its many control choices.

This modification enhances the Storm 1200x's beam angle options, allowing users to choose between an intense and narrow or a smooth and wide blast of light. It provides homogeneous edge-to-edge light output distribution without hotspots. The package also includes a secure carrying case for both reflectors.
